Located only 10 minutes from Roscoe town center and 25 minutes from the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts concert venue, this is a great place to spend your weekend in the Catskills.
Retreat to the deck on cool summer nights to gaze at the twinkling constellations under a cozy tartan blanket. Cold winter night? Use the provided firewood to get the fireplace / wood-burning stove started to enjoy a warm winter night by the fire while enjoying your complimentary bottle of wine.
The Space:
Roscoe Cabin is a spacious but cozy mountain retreat that can comfortably accommodate 6+ occupants with its 3-bed / 3-bedroom layout. The main bedroom includes a queen-size mattress, while the other two have a double-size. The massive living room contains multiple seating areas, a TV, a wood-burning stove, and a game table. The dining room table sits 6-people comfortably, which also has a TV and a wood-burning fireplace. The cabin sits on 6-acres of beautiful forest land nestled atop a mountain in the Catskills. There are multiple fire pits around the property, a BBQ, and a private pond.

Great location with easy access to Roscoe and Livingston Manor. We enjoyed the quiet time away hiking, staying warm by the wood stove and listening to the jukebox. Our dog loved the property and playing with Deb and Mike’s pups.

Just want to say this was a wonderful cabin and it was well equipped and clean. I was happy to see you had a coffee press pot and the juke box was an unexpected treat, and it was loaded with great songs. the hosts Debra and Mike were wonderful and had an excellent knowledge of the area. the next time we are in the area we will stay with you again. Thanks for the wine and we ordered some when we returned home. If any of our friends are going to be in that area, we will tell them about you and the cabin. Debra and Mike are amazing hosts. They are incredibly friendly and made sure we were comfortable and all set. The cabin is very comfortable and perfect for couples or groups of friends to get away! My husband and I had the most amazing honeymoon! We were looking for a dog friendly airbnb with beautiful scenery and places to explore. Roscoe and the surrounding towns did not disappoint! All of the beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and rivers were amazing. Mike and Debbie truly made our stay unforgettable. They are some of the most kind and welcoming people we have ever met, and we can’t thank them enough for making our honeymoon so special. It was honestly the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. The airbnb itself was super clean and cozy. The place was fully stocked, and the jukebox was an awesome bonus. The property is gorgeous, it was great hanging out on the back deck, having a fire at night (which Mike started for us), and listening to the brook and natural spring pond. Our great dane loved it! This is a great place! Debra and Mike have made a beautiful space with everything you would need. We had a beautiful yard our dogs really enjoyed and fire pit with wood for great fires every night. Other guests are close by, but everyone has their privacy. And it was great getting to know the other guests and hanging out with Debra and Mike and their dogs! We not only had a great place, but came away with new friends. We'll be back! Thanks again!

This was a wonderful stay. The place is amazing and Debra a fantastic host. The kitchen dotación is great with all that we need and even more. They left bottles of water in the fridge and a bottle of vine ready to enjoy. Every night we lighted the fire pit (wood was ready there) and looked at the stars while relaxing. I second Joni's review. A great house and nice location. It was incredibly relaxing. I loved the attention to details which made the cabin feel cozy and comfortable. Our days were spent visiting local hiking trails with our two dogs, stopping at local attractions, and then coming home to grill and enjoy time by the fire pit. We would definitely recommend the cabin and can see ourselves returning again in the future.

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting the cabin. Talk about a spacious! It was stocked with everything you could ever need and then some. Loved the warmth in the decor, so cute! Also, really appreciated how Debra went above and beyond to make sure I was able to enjoy a safe stay. We had a great time at Mike & Debra’s cozy cabin in the woods! It is in a remote location with the hosts next door to help out when needed, such as helping to get the fire started up. They also had great recommendations for restaurants and hiking. They have two friendly and well-behaved dogs that loved playing outdoors with our dog. Mike & Debra were really thoughtful and communicative. We arrived later than expected and were in communication about our arrival time so they could have the fire started up right before we arrived for a very warm welcome, along with a delicious bottle of wine. They had a fully stocked kitchen —just bring groceries! They also provided lots of firewood inside the apartment to last the weekend. The Cabin was very spacious, with many board games to keep us entertained through the weekend. The highlight was the jukebox, with an ample selection of songs! All in all it was a very relaxing weekend getaway!

Where to begin!? Debra and Mike are extremely hospitable and welcoming. The cabin was clean, comfortable and felt like home the moment you walked in. EVERYTHING you need from utensils and cooking supplies to mountains of firewood was provided; even the internet speeds were very fast considering the location. The property is private and secluded. We felt safe the entire stay. Debra and Mike even invited us up a night earlier due to impending bad weather; an absolutely amazing couple! This property and five star hosts will not disappoint we all HIGHLY recommend!

Great cabin getaway to escape everything! The house is fully stocked with all essentials, even down to dog bowls, which was a great bonus! Deb and Mike are so welcoming and accommodating! The fireplaces were lit and warm when we arrived and the bottle of wine was perfect! Their dogs have a lot of energy but are as loveable as can be and even came and hung out with us for a bit. There are other rentals on the property so if you're looking for complete privacy this might not be the place for you but we enjoyed having Deb and Mike right there. Their recommendations for places to eat and grab a drink were perfect and when we had a water issue they were right there with a solution and fix. Really the best hosts!!! Can't wait to escape there again soon!

There’s nothing better than rolling up in the driveway after a Long Fri. night road trip & taking you first deep breath …sigh of relief… upon arrival mike and deb had 2 outdoor fires blazing ready for us to kick off the weekend getaway.. The house is nestled in the perfect nook away from neighbors and town. The kitchen provided us with everything we needed to make amazing family dinners while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace.. The house is warmly decorated & allowed enough space for us to all find some quiet downtime when needed.. unless of course we felt like getting our dance on with the most amazing jukebox ever!!!!!! There are two dogs on the property the most friendly warm amazing dogs that we & our dogs fell in love with.. The hosts do live on the property and are within close proximity so if you are looking for a complete private adventure I do not recommend this particular Airbnb for you. Perhaps the awesome RV setup in the back would provide for more personal space.. having said that, they were never a bother and were available upon request.. We very much enjoyed chatting w them. Mike and Deb are extremely passionate about providing the most perfect getaway for family and friends. Much love goes into making sure that guests are comfortable and happy. We very much look forward to returning..

Debra's place is awesome, just fantastic! We had the best Airbnb vacation at her place. It was clean, fun and cozy, the bedrooms are wonderful and inviting. Debra makes sure we have everything in the house, even down to marshmallows and Hershey's chocolate and graham crackers for s'mores which is just great for the fire they set up for us in the evening. Debra and Mike took us on their ATVs and showed us a beautiful waterfall, they are just very very great friendly hosts. The location is perfect, just 2 hours from where we live in Westchester, and kayaking/swimming in the crystal lake was sooooo fun. I will definitely go back there the next time I need vacation which is close by but nature abound.

Debra and Mike were the friendliest, most helpful hosts we've ever stayed with. Their cabin was well appointed and loaded with personality. Their jukebox, game table, and quirky books were super fun! We loved being greeted by their dogs, Roxy and Luna, every morning, and we enjoyed all of the activities they recommended -- kayaking at Crystal Lake, visiting the Woodstock museum and concert venue, going fly fishing with a guide, visiting the alpaca farm. Mike even built us a fire in the evenings! The location was close to town and we enjoyed driving around and exploring the surrounding areas. We also got to see the other Airbnbs they own, and each was delightful in its own way! Definitely one of our better Airbnb experiences.

If your looking for great family time in the mountains this is the place. Quiet, comfy and clean. Everything from towels, music and campfires and everything in between. We enjoyed hanging out on the front and back porch, listening to the jukebox and playing some roulette. Went to Crystal lake with the dogs, breweries nearby and the Woodstock museum. The jukebox was such a great addition to our trip along with the many games. There are 2 decks to hang out on, front and back which provided great places to drink coffee, listen to music, grill and enjoy nature. Mike and Debbie provided all the wood and charcoal for grilling and set up amazing fires in the fire pit. Can't say enough good things about this trip. The downtown was small but perfect for what we were looking for with a distillery and brewery with live music and great drinks. Debra’s cabin was spotless and came with everything you would need at a home-away-from-home. Traveling light is nearly impossible when you have an 11 month old but they make it easy already having a high chair and a pack-n-play (which came in handy when the 3 of us were hanging out in the living room, enjoying the jukebox). The Buck Brook Alpaca Farm was under a 10 minute drive away and is an absolute must-see. Our stay definitely gave us the recharge we were looking for!

We had a great stay at the Cozy Cabin and would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the Roscoe area. We enjoyed the fishing and visiting with some family about hour away. The jukebox was the highlight of the cabin for us, never turned on a TV! Enjoyed chatting with Debra and Mike throughout our stay and meeting their dogs, Luna and Roxy. Only complaint is that we didn’t have more time, so I trust we’ll be back soon!

The cabin was amazing! It had everything we needed (and more!), and great outdoor spaces too. We had fun playing songs on the jukebox and hanging out on the deck. The location was also perfect - so close to town, local breweries, hikes, and an alpaca farm! Debra and Mike were great and their dogs are so sweet. Debbie + Mike are the best Airbnb hosts I have EVER had. Not only is this cabin just so lovely and great for a getaway (no matter the season I’m sure), they are always there to help with absolutely anything. We went for a girls trip to get out of the city and even before we left Debbie called to make sure we had groceries and 4 wheel drive to prepare for the snow, upon our arrival the fires were lit and wine was left out for us, Mike came over to help us with the lovely fires in the cabin a few times, and both hosts were so friendly giving us tips of what to do nearby and giving us a history of the area! Honestly we didn’t even leave the cabin area too many times - the snow was beautiful we even went sledding in the backyard, cooked a lot, danced to the music the jute box played and enjoyed sitting by the fires. Such a great trip and would love to see what it’s like in the spring/summer!

Mike and Debra have a wonderful cabin in a great location. They are very warm hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had anything we needed, especially since we brought our 1 year old son. Their place had a pack and play and high chair available which helped up pack less for the drive and the the fireplace in the kitchen was our favorite place to hang out during our stay. They lit the fireplace before we arrived which made the place even more inviting on our arrival and even let us use a couple sleds so we could give it a try with our son. We noticed they also had a pretty amazing bonfire going outside which was cool too. They are definitely music aficionados and have a cool jukebox and a couple instruments in the living area which was also a nice touch. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there and would book again.

We had a really lovely snowy weekend at the picturesque cozy cabin. The fireplaces were what we were most excited about and they didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed the smell and sound and warmth of 2 genuine fires burning real wood all weekend - not so easy to come by these days! On top of that the cabin was filled with kitschy charm - the jukebox was SO FUN - and our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. All of our dogs playing together in the snow was a daily highlight, as was sledding down the hill for our daughter. Thanks again for the perfect country getaway from the city at a time when that is so meaningful.

Debra & Mike set the bar SO high for other AirBnb hosts! They are the nicest, most thoughtful people and the devotion to their guests is obvious in every way! The design and amenities of the home are exceptional! They did not cut corners when they remodeled this home; it’s a great combo of originals to the home and modern touches. They took great care of the outdoor space too & they make it safe and enjoyable, even in a big snowstorm and icy conditions! We felt very safe and cared for. They really made us feel like we were in our own home. We love to cook and the kitchen is full of many great cookware items and utensils, and it is stocked with coffee, tea and many other things that we have in our own kitchen- this is somewhat rare when renting an Airbnb! The beds are comfortable, as well as the linens. It’s a very spacious home with a great layout. We were able to work from home without any issues; the internet & tv are very reliable. Deb & Mike are also great at suggesting things to do nearby! There isn’t a shortage of breathtaking views near this home!! We will certainly miss lounging on the large couch with our pup and being warmed by the wood stove! We will certainly be back to create more memories! Roxy & Luna are sweet dogs and it’s clear they’re very well taken care of too! We’ll miss them coming to say good morning at the back door! :)

Debra and Mike went above and beyond as hosts and the house was absolutely perfect for a Thanksgiving getaway! They were incredibly friendly and happy to give us the extras we needed as well as providing local tips. We left something behind at the house and days later they are still looking to see if they could find it. Just goes to show that they are amazing hosts and want to do everything possible to ensure their guests are happy! The house was awesome, specifically the 2 fire places, well stocked kitchen, big comfortable leather sofa and the wooded trails behind the house to walk in the woods. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed playing some great hits on their old school jukebox. We will definitely be going back and I suggest you don't hesitate to book this great value house too!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Deborah’s place. We absolutely love everything about the house! It’s cozy and warm with a big fireplace, a wood stove, and an outdoor fire pit. It’s a great place for a family reunion, and Debra and Mike are friendly and helpful. It’s a great value!

The house was a great setup with the fireplace in the kitchen, the jukebox filled with great music, the fire pit outside and of course Roxy waiting at the backdoor to say hi. Debra and Mike were great hosts and always willing to help with everything. The location was close to lots of great hikes and beautiful scenery.

It was just perfect. We found a cozy, sparkling clean, full of comfort and amenities place that everything exceeded our expectations. Mike and Deb took care of us like no other host could. Such nice and friendly people. They even had the bonfire on waiting for us at check in. And their dog Roxy was the cherry on top of an amazing weekend. We will definitely go back as soon as we have the chance.

Debra and Mike are some of the most hospitable airbnb hosts we have had. They are always available and are happy to help you with anything you need, if they have it! I even forgot unsalted butter for a recipe I was making, and they offered me what they had. They are so kind! The space is just like the photos, even better in person, and very clean. Beds were comfortable, and they do a great job of cleaning the space between guests. When we first arrived, they even put on music and candles for us in the house, which was such a warm welcome. They have a working fireplace, and a stove in the great room, which I am sure would be great in colder weather. Their dog Roxy is super sweet and dog friendly. They have a fully stocked kitchen, with lots of spices and pantry items. The bathroom and walk in shower were modern and spacious, and had great hot water. The backyard was a wonderful space to hang out in, with an awesome fire pit and a robust grill. Mike is always happy to start a fire for you, and it will last all night. Downtown Roscoe is super cute, with a brewery, restaurants and cute shops. There are also lots of parks nearby to hike, including Crystal Lake and Delaware Wild Forest. I highly recommend the longer hike of Trout or Mud Pond Loop in the Delaware Wild Forest, but Crystal Lake is a great shorter option for younger kids and those who are not up for a longer hike. Overall this was a great stay, and we look forward to another trip.

First and foremost, Debra and Mike are absolutely great hosts. They made sure everything we needed was taken care of and we had a true Airbnb Experience. The location of the house is great as its super close to Crystal and Tennanah lake. Keep in mind there are two additional houses located in the same property, so you will have neighbors. The house has two decks and 1 backyard with a fire pit and plenty of space for dogs to run around. The house is not fenced, so dogs may be off leash but need supervision. They have a gorgeous dog named Roxy which is a sweetheart and will lighten up your day. The house was sparkling clean and if you are into cooking - you are in for a treat. The kitchen is fully equipped with things beyond imagination. They have everything for picnics, barbecues, brisket, waffles, muffins etc. Wifi worked and we had an amazing time.

Deb & Mike’s cabin was the perfect respite from Brooklyn — we cooked incredible meals on the deck every evening, slept like babies in the cozy bedrooms, and generally made ourselves completely at home for 10 wonderful days. Deb & Mike were friendly and welcoming in every way — our son adored them, and their super-friendly pup Roxy! — and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Debra was a wonderful, present host. There are three spaces to rent on the property and Debra was there to make sure all of them were well-cared for. When we were outside in the yard, she would poke her head out to make sure we had everything we needed and also purchased great games for my kids. When you see the phrase "Super Host" you expect a bit more, and these guys put the super in super host. We've stayed at dozens of Airbnb's but never had this level of friendly accommodating service before. The hosts were very respectful of our privacy, but found ways of asking if we needed extra firewood, paper towels, etc. They even brought us a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup! The area is beautiful, the cabin is super comfortable, the gas grill is perfect, and the wifi is better than what we have in NYC. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in the Catskills, a great experience all around.

We had a great time at Debra's cabin in Roscoe. It's a beautiful cabin. Well located and with a great rustic feel to it. My wife, friends and I had a great time during our weekend there. The cabin was great for us to hang out and play some games and relax. We went to the Roscoe Beer Co. brewery which is a short drive away and really enjoyed it and also visited the Alpaca Farm which is very close to the cabin. One of my favorite parts was their dog Roxy. She is such a sweetheart pup. Full of love and energy. We had a great stay and would recommend this airbnb to anyone. Debra, Mike and Roxy were great hosts and very helpful with info about the area.

Photos do not do this place justice! Debra is such a warm host and the house is a quintessential cozy cabin. Debra did a great job on the recent remodel and the place is sparkling clean. Hiking trails behind the house were great for the dog. Games, fun readings, two fireplaces. Gotta give a shoutout to the bongo drum. An all around fun getaway spot that works for a couple or big group. If you’re looking for a perfect retreat away from all the noise, this place is it.

This place is exactly what we were looking for. Off the map cabin in a beautiful location. Amazing hosts that even called to tell us abut snowfall and to be safe driving! We arrived at Debra and Mike’s place in a snowstorm after what should have been a five hour drive that turned into seven! It was heavenly to come in to a roaring fire and cozy accommodations. We played games, enjoyed the local restaurants and distilleries, my son skied, and I ran around the lake. Debra and Mike were great communicators and clearly love sharing their space. I highly recommend it!

Our second trip staying at one of Debra’s properties. We stayed in the bigger cabin this time so we had plenty of room with two dogs and two kids. Our hosts had the wood-stove and fireplace all fired up for us, so very welcoming. Very beautiful house and location. We really enjoyed walking the trail on the property, and returning to the warm cabin. Debra really thinks of all the details big and small, such as coffee supplies, iphone charger, and all the wood we needed nice and dry in the house. We especially enjoyed the huge stone fireplace in the dining room/kitchen area. Will definitely return on our next trip!

This cabin is newly renovated and very clean. It was warm, welcoming and had everything that we needed and much, much more. My friends and I especially enjoyed the fireplace and wood burning stove during our stay. Debra and Mike were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had everything that we needed. I will definitely return in the future as this is a wonderful place to stay.

I would like to start off by saying that Debbie and Mike were such fantastic hosts! Knowing that I wanted to rent their cabin to have my pregnancy photo shoot with my husband, family and three dogs, Debbie and Mike were more than accommodating, even sending me updates regarding good locations to take pictures before I even arrived! Although the ride to the cabin from Long Island was stressful (due to holiday traffic and no fault of Debbie and Mike), our tension was gone once we arrived at the beautiful cabin! Debbie and Mike greeted us and gave us a tour. I was surprised at how big the space was. The pictures do not adequately display the size of the common areas as well as how much care and effort was put into updating the property. The cabin was extraordinarily clean, beds were comfortable and literally everything was provided – from charcoal and propane for the grill to condiments to toiletries! All you need to bring are your clothes and food and beverages of choice – everything else is provided, including games! Also, Debbie and Mike’s cabin is pet friendly and our three little pups loved every second of the outdoors! Knowing our goal was to take scenic photos, Debbie and Mike escorted us to a beautiful waterfall which was a 15 minute drive and additional 10 minute walk. So to call them Super Hosts would be an understatement – they should be considered Mega Super Hosts! Thank you Debbie and Mike for such a great weekend! We enjoyed our stay and took some great photos! Can’t wait to come back and visit with the baby! Hopefully by then the pool table would be in the game room

This house is a fantastic find in a beautiful area. Debra & Mike were there to greet us and show us the house and all its amenities. The home is newly renovated and everything turned out perfect. The space is actually larger than expected and was very comfortable inside and out! We had a dog with us for our stay and they even offered to take him on a walk while we were at a wedding. From games to fireplaces, bonfires, comfortable beds and more this home is a gem.

What a wonderful find. Debbie and Mike are excellent hosts; it’s clear that they truly want their guests to have the best stay possible, and would go above and beyond to meet any needs. As for the cabin itself, it’s amazing! It’s so much bigger than we had gathered from the pictures, and doesn’t feel like a cabin at all. Tons of space to relax, watch tv, play games, etc. The kitchen might’ve been our favorite part of the house. It’s spacious, modern, and stocked with whatever you may need to cook a full meal. Also, the tv and fireplace in the kitchen/dining area was a really nice and homey touch. The decks (front and back) are also really nice. Plenty of seating & a grill, perfect for a relaxing evening outside. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place. An awesome house and even better hosts. We’ll be back for sure!

Mike and Deb's cottage is a FANTASTIC find! The setting couldn't be more beautiful, surrounded by towering, fragrant pines and a running stream we could enjoy off both the front and back decks. From there we heard the soft, low calls of owls and enjoyed the many sounds of nature. The cottage is light and airy with high ceilings, and the gorgeous, newly remodeled kitchen (with a cobblestone fireplace!) had everything we could possibly need. All six of us cooked and gathered around the lovely large island / farmhouse table. The game room (with wood stove!) was a cozy gathering spot with lots of entertainment at our fingertips. The three good sized bedrooms each had comfortable mattresses and nice cotton bedding. There was plenty of hot water for all six of us who stayed and showered (in the extra large stall) more or less back to back. There is also a charcoal grill that was prepared for our use, although we did not take full advantage of that. But the best part of our visit was the hosts themselves. Mike and Debra made everything easy and pleasant! They were available to answer any and all questions with a friendly smile, but were never intrusive. Their love for this property is evident in the way they created and care for it. We'll be back for sure!

Debbie and Mike are one of the best hosts we have ever had. Not only were they very accommodating but also they were very friendly and hospitable. Even before we reached the place, they kept In touch with us so that we had a pleasant commute to their place. When we reached the property, they were waiting outside to receive us. We found them to be very sweet, hospitable and genuine people. They gave us a tour of the house which was way larger and beautiful than we had expected. The pictures do not do any justice to the place at all. We loved how they had stacked the house with all the addition supplies and also how thoughtful they had been in setting up and decorating the entire place. It’s quite evident how much effort they have put in setting up this love and cozy property. They also had a bunch of games for us for us to spend our time on. They made an extra effort to give us a plethora of information about all the tourist spots nearby. We couldn’t have been any happier by our choice to stay at this place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Debra was very helpful and accommodating when I needed to find a last minute place for my own airbnb guests when an unexpected plumbing problem occurred at my place. She was immediately responsive and stayed in communication while we determined what our needs were. As it turns out, my guests didn't need to use her place as our situation was fixed in time for them to stay, but it was so helpful knowing we had an option to offer nearby with such gracious accommodating hosts.

It was a pleasure meeting the hosts Mike and Debrah and undoubtedly greater pleasure to say how wonderful our stay at their cabin was. The living room and dining room were large and spacious, the kitchen more than well-equipped and the bedrooms comfortable – overall the brand new cabin was done up very tastefully and well-maintained. The linens and towels provided in abundance added to the generosity. The area around were quiet and the apartment could not be better located. You suggestions regarding places of visit and eateries for a 24 hour stay were absolutely handy. But what touched us most was, when you decided to join and show us the places personally for which you had to spend your valuable time, efforts and money. You made the navigation for us so convenient and visit to the Alpaca farm and the water fall, so much more memorable. Our overall experience was awesome and unique; our only regret is that our stay was far too short! Not only we would like to visit again but definitely recommend your guest house to all our friends who are planning a trip to Catskills! Thank you, again!

Debbie and Mike are outstanding hosts! They are warm and friendly and made us feel so comfortable. They were enthusiastic about sharing there favorite haunts and secret spots with us! And when they say just bring your clothes, they supply everything else, they really mean it! There was fresh fruit and water along with the usual spices. The cottage was newly remodeled with a beautiful bright kitchen and a spacious great room with an amazing game table (chess, backgammon, etc). At the time we stayed, they were expanding the property to have an amazing fire pit and pavilion. We can’t wait to come back and see what else they’ve put in. Most of all, their hospitality was above and beyond and we felt more like friends then hotel guests when we left! The kids and the dog also had a blast!
