Roscoe Cottage is ideal for the city-weary seeking a peaceful, relaxing getaway or the adventure seeker looking to explore the Catskills! The space is handicap accessible with a ramp to the front door and all interior & exterior doorframes wider than 36 inches wide. Located only 10 minutes from Roscoe town center and 25 minutes from the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts concert venue, this is a great place to spend your weekend in the Catskills.
Enjoy an early morning coffee on the large private deck that overlooks the property's pond. Cold winter night? Use the provided firewood to fire up the wood-burning stove to enjoy a warm winter night by the fire while enjoying your complimentary bottle of wine, provided at check-in.
The Space:
Roscoe Cottage is a cozy mountain retreat that can comfortably accommodate 6+ occupants with its 3-bed / 2-bedroom layout. The main bedroom includes a comfortable queen-size mattress, while the second bedroom contains a bunk bed comprised of two full-size double mattresses. Roscoe Cottage offers an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen, which makes entertaining or spending time together more enjoyable and easy. The living room has plenty of seating due to a comfortable oversized couch that fits 7-8 people, a dining room table that seats 5, and a small kitchen island that seats 2. Roscoe Cottage also has a TV & wood-burning stove in the living room and a couple of small desks for those who WFH.

Debra's cabin was a perfect choice for a quick getaway in Roscoe! They were helpful, friendly and flexible hosts during our stay. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, games and comfy beds. Highly recommended if you need a spot that caters to dog owners!

We cannot say enough nice things about Mike and Debra. We booked very last minute and they were more than accommodating. They took the time to make sure everything was perfect for our arrival and were so incredibly hospitable during our stay. The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Debra and Mike are truly great hosts. They basically just want their guests to have a wonderful time, from the wood 🪵 for bonfires to the abundance of outdoor furniture….they provide the ingredients for a great stay in the mountains. Our accommodations were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Our dogs will miss chasing frogs in the pond and of course their friend, Luna.

Debra & Mike thought of everything. Our stay was outstanding. The cottage had every comfort of home and the surrounding area of Roscoe is simply beautiful. The space was clean and well-stocked. Our children absolutely loved the back deck which was fully gated in. It was the perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning and look at the little pond. We felt very welcome and definitely plan to visit again.

We had such a wonderful girls weekend in Roscoe! Debbie and Mike were fantastic hosts and their dogs made it even better. The property was in a great location, the house was immaculate, and they even provided a bottle of wine for us to enjoy during our stay. We had the most wonderful experience. Debra had set up the house with New Years decorations and gifted us two bottles of wine upon arrival to celebrate with. They made us a bonfire on night one and we felt so incredibly welcomed. Highly recommend staying here!

Our family had such a wonderful time at the cottage during Christmas week. Debbie and Mike made us feel at home with all the personal touches including a fun bon fire night as it gently snowed. Luna was a highlight for our dog, Bronxie. He made a new friend along with Roxy and another guest dog. The cabin is super clean and comfy, especially the full size bunk beds with cubbies. We enjoyed the area including the Alpaca farm. We will definitely be back again to visit with Debbie, Mike, Luna and Roxy.

Amazing place with amazing owners! Can’t recommend Debra and Mike’s cabin enough. Extremely cozy, comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, awesome private patio area with a charcoal and propane grill. A huge fire pit that Mike was nice enough to get started for us so it was good to go when we got back from fly fishing the extremely nearby Beaverkill and Willowemac. Besides the awesome cabin Debra and Mike are just fantastic people that are available and clearly put in the time and effort to make the stay really enjoyable. Will be back.

Immaculate experience, hospitable doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of it. They were super communicative throughout the stay, they had the lights on, ac at a perfect temperature, and a candle lit when we arrived at 11pm. From there, they sent us guidebooks on what we could all do, introduced themselves to us the next day, talked about some great areas, provided us with a fire, and their two dogs Luna and Roxy are SO cute! They played very well with our dog, and overall had an incredible experience. This cabin fills up quick for good reason, jump on this when possible - we’re already planning on coming back here next year! Thanks guys!

As other have said, the place is spotless and comfy, the hosts are friendly and helpful, their dogs are sweet and playful and that fire pit is simply amazing! It's a great place to make s'mores, have a beer and gaze at the stars while the dogs (and kids if you have them) run around. The cottage is located in a beautiful area with lots to do and a short drive to town for groceries or a meal out. We had a great stay and will be back!

The place is better than the pictures! Cozy, comfortable and perfectly furnished for fun and relaxing vacation from the city! Mike and Debra made us feel very welcome and my dogs had a lot of fun running around. Their 2 dogs are the sweetest! The kitchen has everything you need to cook, the beds are super comfortable, and the sofa in the living room is huge and so comfy! Everything was on point! We enjoyed playing board games, snow tubbing, walking the trails, and just relaxing in the home! The location is beautiful! We plan to come back in the summer!

Our family of four (+ dog) stayed for a couple of days/nights. With bunk beds for the kids, the master and a sizable living space/kitchen this was the prefect size for us. It was very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with whatever you need. While on the property we were able to do some sledding on a pretty sweet run that was set up through the trees, while our dog Cookie played with host dogs Roxy and Luna. When we ventured out there was no shortage of running streams, beautiful snow-covered terrain, breweries and shops within a short distance. This made for the perfect home base. We would come again...perhaps in the spring/summer next time.

They thought of everything here and are so attentive and helpful if we had any questions. It's enjoyable to stay in a place that feels like it's been lived in - it's cozy and the kitchen is well stocked to support cooking every meal. Our kids (and us too) had a blast carving out a sled run in the woods in back. We were bummed we couldn't get to a local hike because the access road hadn't been plowed, but we had plenty of fun walking in the woods behind the cottage, sledding, and enjoying the snow with the host's adorable dogs. It was a comfortable, fun vacation!

I can not thank enough Debra and Mike for their hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs are met, starting from digging out fire pit that was under 2 feet of snow to allowing us to stay an extra night for free because of the snowstorm. The place was cozy and warm and we loved spending evening by the fire pit even though it was cold outside. We had a feeling that we are in a winter wonderland and did not want to leave. My family and I spent the weekend and had a great experience! The location was nice, quiet and private, which was what we were looking for to get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. Without doubt the best place my boyfriend and I have stayed. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Deb & Mike. They are extremely friendly and accommodating (we appreciated this!). We had a great stay here for the entire month. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relief to walk and explore such a quiet and peaceful environment . The fires they started for us made the stay all the more special. Deb & Mike went above & beyond to make the place feel like a home for us. They are the true definition of great hospitality. Mike & Debra were lovely and exceptionally thoughtful hosts, and their property is just pictured. It was clearly very well cleaned before our arrival. They were very available to answer questions or give recommendations when asked, but also gave us plenty of space to enjoy our family vacation. Their backyard woods had a nice little trail through it which was lots of fun for our 3 & 5 year old to get some energy out while still hanging around the house.

My fiancé and I stayed at the cottage for a week, it was a great experience! The house was perfect for us, plenty of space, great lounge area, and wonderful yard. We were able to easily cook meals with the provided kitchen supplies and charcoal grill. The house also had a lovely side porch and large bonfire pit in the yard. The host was accommodating and so friendly. They have an adorable dog that became quick friends with our 7 month dachshund. Overall, it was a perfect nature retreat. We really enjoyed checking out the town of Roscoe & Livingston Manor. Would definitely recommend!

In my years of using Airbnb, this has been the best experience I have ever had. Debra, Mike, and Roxy were incredible hosts. I would say “superhost” is an understatement. They are ready to communicate and help with any issues. They are so welcoming and great to talk to. Their home is exactly as depicted. All the amenities listed were in great condition and made our stay so comfortable. Along with a beautiful, clean home, the area is filled with things to do! The hosts gave us great recommendations, a two night stay was definitely not enough to explore. The cottage was bright and airy and clean. Deb thought of everything to make us feel at home. The deck was wonderful for meals and to hang out on and our dog loved it. Just returned from a wonderful weekend at this location. Deb and Mike (and dog, Roxy) were extremely friendly and accommodating- consistently checking in to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. After an unsuccessful trip to the supermarket, they generously offered us food from their own kitchen. We really appreciated how they went above and beyond all expectations! The space itself was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated with a rustic, cabin theme. There were candles lit upon our arrival, a basket full of clean towels perched in the corner of the bathroom, and music playing on the tv in the main area. The home was also stocked with a plethora of essential kitchen and household items for the duration of our stay. We had a great time and it’s safe to say we’ll be returning again in the future!

I can’t say enough great things about Deb, the place, and the surrounding nature. Also, their dog Roxy was an excellent substitute for my dog that I was missing during my stay. While this was a tough time to travel due to COVID-19, Deb made sure I felt comfortable. She touched on the cleaning job they did before I got there, made sure the place was stocked up on toilet paper, and had plenty of spices, olive oil, etc. to ensure I was all set with cooking. Beyond that, Deb is extremely hospitable, easy to get in touch with, and more than willing to go the extra mile. I will be back here and hopefully it will be under better circumstances! This was our third stay at one of Deb’s listings, and it’s always a relaxing and comfortable stay. The two bedrooms gave us ample room for our family of 4, plus 2 dogs. My grownup daughter especially liked the thoughtful touches in the upper bunk bed, with a shelf, cell phone charger, and light. The light switch was on top so she didnt have to jump out of bed to turn off the light when she was done reading. Deb and Mike respond quickly to any questions and are always helpful with local suggestions and information.

They were so gracious and hospitable that we felt right at home. Their cottage is very cozy, sparkling clean, and had everything we needed and more. Our dog loved running around their property and was very happy playing with their adorable pup. Debra and Mike also had great recommendations for things to do around the area (Open mic at Rafters was great and we got to see Mike playing mad percussions!). Deb and Mike should write the book on hosting! We had three generations, not an easy group to please, traveling off season, mid week, for only three days. Our purpose was to find a new home for my dad after the devastating loss of our mother. Upon arriving at their cottage, Deb and Mike greeted us in the driveway with open arms. My dad had arrived a few hours before us and had texted me saying simply “cottage is perfect, owners even better”. After the gracious welcoming, Mike opened the door to the cottage and my initial thought was ‘I want to live here’. It is thoughtfully decorated and offers enough space to feel cozy but not at all cluttered. My tween daughter loved the custom built oversized bunkbed and immediately shouted “this is awesome”. The open floor plan is perfect for travelers who want to be together. I was simultaneously preparing pasta, watching the news, and conversing with my dad and daughter. The LED bathroom sink faucet, the shower soap dispenser, and the many board games and coloring books were unexpected enjoyable extras. The property is perfect for pet owners (we had two dogs) and includes a wooded path and pond. Deb and Mike offered restaurant and local attractions suggestions (which were spot on). Mike and Deb are truly good people, to the soul. Their kindness and thoughtfulness are contagious and they touch your heart forever. In the end with the help of Mike and Deb our adventure was a complete success. We look forward to future stays at their flawless Roscoe cottage and a lifelong friendship.

We chose this location for it's proximity to a wedding we were attending upstate. Debra and Mike were friendly hosts who own a few other rentals on the property. They made our stay super welcoming and as comfortable as possible. My main concern when looking for a place was to find one that was clean, updated and cozy...their place for the bill perfectly. A very late check-in was no issue. And any issues we had were resolved very quickly. I highly recommend staying by here!

The area is beautiful, with terrific hiking and waterfalls nearby, as well as nice towns and restaurants. My family loved every minute of our stay here. Debra and Mike have created a beautiful getaway, meticulously decorated and maintained. Check in and check out was a breeze, and our hosts promptly answered any questions and provided local suggestions. We especially appreciated the privacy on the back deck that overlooked the pond. The hosts live on the property, and rent out other spaces, but they have carefully crafted each space to be private. Extra bedroom has bunk beds suitable for adults or kids. I would provide pics, but it really is exactly as pictured in listing. The only thing to be aware of is we weren’t able to get cell reception, but the wifi worked well. Will definitely stay here again, on a day that’s not raining to explore more of this beautiful area.

My friend and I had a fabulous weekend at this cottage. Debra and Mike are very friendly and met us when we arrived so they could show us everything. Mike also asked us about our dinner plans and timing so he could have the BBQ set up for us with coals by the time we arrived home. He also had a huge bonfire roasting for us in the evening. My friend and I had brought stuff to grill and it was so nice to have the grill already set up for us after returning from an outing and then even nicer to have the bonfire already going instead of first having to scavenge for wood. We were also impressed with all the amenities in the kitchen- while we pack a lot of stuff we needed a few more ziplock bags and tinfoil which was supplied in a kitchen stocked with condiments and utensils, etc. Everything was very clean and we gave our stay the highest rating.
